Ranking Kerala's tour operator for the terms that book trips

An 18-year-old Kerala tour operator with almost no organic visibility. A technical rebuild and an intent-led content engine grew impressions 8.7× and put them on page one for the terms travellers actually book.

The challenge

Paradise Holidays had two lakh happy customers and 7,000+ five-star reviews - but on Google they were invisible. Almost every enquiry came from paid ads and OTA commissions, and their site barely ranked for the high-intent package terms travellers search before booking a Kerala trip.

Not ranking in the top 100 for core terms like “kerala tour packages” and “munnar tour packages”.
Thin, duplicated package pages with no clear search intent or internal structure.
Technical debt - slow mobile load, crawl and indexing issues, missing schema.
Heavy reliance on paid ads and OTA commissions, with little durable organic demand.
No topical authority for honeymoon, family, women-only or backwater packages.

Fix the foundations

A full technical audit and rebuild - Core Web Vitals, crawl paths, canonicals, mobile speed and Travel/FAQ schema - so Google could finally read and trust every package page.

Build an intent-led engine

Restructured the site into destination and package pillars (Munnar, Alleppey, Thekkady, honeymoon, family, women-only) with content mapped to how travellers actually search and book.

Earn authority

Travel digital PR, listings and links that built topical authority for Kerala tourism - turning rankings into durable, compounding positions.

The results

Organic traffic trending up sharply - now a major, fast-growing channel alongside paid (which still drives ~60% of visits).
Search impressions grew strongly as the site began ranking for high-intent package terms.
Ranking for 350+ keywords, with “kerala tour packages” and “munnar trip package” on page one.
Engagement is excellent - ~5 pages per visit and 3m+ average time on site.
Page-1 positions captured across Munnar, Alleppey and backwater package terms.
